The scaled down, traveling version of the Vietnam Memorial Wall came to Portland, where we played as part of its dedication ceremony.

Sweet Home Highland Games, August 28, 2004
2004 marks the first year that the Southern Oregon Scottish played the Sweet Home Highland Games.
Volunteer percussionists from the audience try out pairing Latin rhythms with the traditional Scottish pipe tune, A Man's A Man For A' That.

High Desert Celtic Festival, August 14, 2004
The sun came out when it was time for us to play, but for most of the day, the High Desert Celtic Festival was surrounded by an incredible thunder storm.

Not an official band function, but several of our members toured this historical replica tallship when she came to Coos Bay, Oregon. (She was seen extensively as the Interceptor in the Disney movie, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.)
