The Southern Oregon Scottish's

75th Anniversary Jubilee

Tartan Ball!

The Southern Oregon Scottish celebrated its 75th anniversary with a semi-formal Tartan Ball on November 10, 2006, at the Rogue Valley Country Club. We hope you all had a great time and enjoyed the fine food and wonderful entertainment!

A welcome to the Ball from Pipe Major Roland Kari (left) and our Emcee, Red McWilliams (right).

Reverend Marcie McDonald gave the evening's invocation.

Traditional Scottish dances were presented by the High Desert Country Dancers.

Later, guests could join in the dancing.

Red McWilliams serenades a very special guest.

Shepherd's Pie and Chicken Bonnie Prince Charlie were just a few of the Scottish entrees on the buffet menu.

Door prizes were awarded all evening, such as this resin-cast eagle statue donated by Mo's Restaurant.

The evening was rounded out with songs, stories, jokes, music, good food, and fun for all.
